needs them to be supporting him especially when it comes to these tight margins. if he were to win and beat joe biden in november, these republicans understand that they -- it's a team sport. if they want to get their policy prescriptions through, they want to hold onto the house which talking to activists say more likely seeing that could happen now. they want to expand that margin in the senate not just for the sake of getting trump's agenda through but also to confirm nominees for the president which last time around was very, very difficult for him. and so they're looking at this as a team sport. and they can't get what they want if they don't win. >> sounds like they realize when it comes to larry hogan. you remember right after the 34 guilty against president trump in manhattan. one of trump's top advisers basically tweeted back your campaign so ever. that's the end of it. here is what president trump said to aishah hasnie when she asked him about larry hogan today. >> are you going to support larry hogan to win that senate seat? >> yeah. i would like to see him win.

decision people act like we never get those we have gotten a lot lately. wasn't on the merits. the pro-life doctors who brought the case did not have standing. didn't get to the argument about the fda regulating this medication. the justice kavanaugh says the plaintiffs have sincere moral ideological and policy objections to elective abortion and to fda's relaxed regulation of mifepristone under article iii of the constitution those kind of objections alone do not establish judicial case. it doesn't mean the debate is over this case is over. >> exactly, democratic progressive groups, they are worried if trump comes back that he is going to order the fda to make it harder for people to get this drug. what's been interesting since the dobbs, you know, arrangement is that abortion has actually gone up a little bit. .2%. you see two thirds of americans who are against the ruling. so, the supreme court has to be mindful of their own credibility

because they have to look at standing and say hey, if these people did not have standing to sue the -- to stop, this then it's a 9-0. >> shannon: so, katy, what about those very critical of the court right now, especially the justices they consider to be conservatives? i mean, they all stuck together on this and said the case is not ripe. >> interesting you go back to the dobbs decision. and the aftermath of that. and the assassination attempt on justice kavanaugh the constant raucous protesting outside of the justices homes. the continued attacks on the court by senator dick durbin and sheldon whitehouse saying the dobbs decision was made purely for ideological right wing reasons when it was made on constitutional reasons and constitutional grounds. and now you have this ruling 9-0. again, going back to the constitutional issue which justice kavanaugh wrote about. alliance defending freedom who brought this case vowing to move forward to try make case on the merits as you mentioned it wasn't made in terms of the
