7, 1989, in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston. She was born in Germany, a daughter of the late Paul and Barbara Hannell. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne. She was employed by Pomeroy's department tore as a saleswoman for 19 years. She was preceded in death by her usband, Martin, in 1973.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. James (Jean) Siracuse of, Swoyersville; Mrs. Richard (Pat) Mattie, Shavertown; four grandchildren; Ind five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday 9 a.m. from the Lehman Funeral tome, 281 Chapel Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

Felix Gorsky Felix J. Gorsky, 79, of Mildred, died Friday evening, Sept. 8, 1989, In the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. Born in Old Forge, Jan. 8, 1910, ne was a son of the late Thomas and Martha Kozup Gorsky.

He attended Old Forge schools. He resided in Mildred for more than 50 rears, where he owned and operated plumbing Mr. Gorsky vas also employed by the factoy in Elmira, N.Y., as a pipefitter for more than 10 years. Prior to retiring, he owned and operated a bottled-gas business. Mr.

Gorsky was preceded in death a daughter, Kathleen Ann Gorsin 1980. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Huray; son, Thomas, of Walworth, N.Y.: sisters, Mrs. Antonia Gavlick, Lopez; Mrs. Anna Waldron, Elmira, N.Y.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be conducted.

Agnes Ciliberto Agnes Ciliberto, formerly of Pettebone Street, Duryea, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1989 in the Highland Manor Nursing Facility, Exeter. Born in Wood. she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Angeline DeNobili DePasquale. A resident of the Buffalo area most of her life, she was employed as a beautician prior to retiring.

Mrs. Ciliberto had lived in Duryea since 1974. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, in also brothers, Jack, Sam, Michael, Charles and James and a sister, Mrs. Theresa Rossi.

Nemetz, of Adams Avenue, Scranton, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, Sept. 8, 1989, in Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born in Swoyersville, he was a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Chesloski Nemetz. He had lived for more than 65 years in Scranton, where he owned and operated a grocery store in the Green Ridge section for 40 years. He was later employed by Bache, Halsey and Stuart Securities until his retirement.

Mr. Nemetz was a member of Holy Family Church and past president of its Holy Name Society. For more than 50 years, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was past faithful navigator of the 4th degree and past faithful chancellor of the 3rd degree. He was also past president of the American Slovak Society of Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties. His wife, the former Clara Bakos, died in 1 1983.

Mr. Nemetz was also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and George; also sisters, Mary Begany, Anna Novajosky, Elizabeth Keeley and Pauline Williams. Exit 51 Off I-81 Stanley Krispin Stanley Krispin, 64, of Church Road, East Dallas, died unexpectly on Friday, Sept. 8, 1989, at home from injuries received following a tractor accident on his farm. Born in Larksville, March 30, 1925, he was a son of the late Stanley and Mary Sczezck Krispin. He attended Kingston Township schools and ran the Krispin Farms in the Back Mountain for some 50 years. He was also employed for 20 years by the Mountaintop Container Co.

Mr. Krispin was a member of St. Francis Cabrini R.C. Church, Carverton, an army veteran of World wand. Surviving are his wife, the former Cornelia Houck Fehlinger: stepson, Herbert Fehlinger, Dallas; stepdaughter, Emma Klose, Hunlock Creek; brothers, Edmund, Nashville, Leonard, East Dallas; sisters, Mrs.

A life long resident of Wilkes-Barre, born July 29, 1902, he was a daughter of the late William and Mary Morgan Basham.

Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a sales clerk at. People's Clothing, and Zayre's Department Store. Miss Basham was a member of the First Primitive Methodist Church. Wilkes-Barre. was preceded in death by a brother, William, and sisters, Sarah May and Emily Basham.

29, 1989, in the South Side Medical Center, Youngstown, Ohio following an apparent heart attack. Born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 20, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Zaither and Asphoria Richwen Sodd. She had resided in Forty Fort until moving to Ohio with her husband in 1964. Her husband, John Saba, died March 25, 1970, in Youngstown.

She was a former member of St. George's Maronite Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre. In Ohio, she was a member of St. Maron's Maronite Catholic Church St. Tobias Society.

Surviving Mike, are of daughters, Poland; Mrs. Charlotte Theresa Mike, Liberty, Ohio; Mrs. Ann Detec, Boardman, Ohio; sons, John M. Livonia, Dr. Thomas, Albany, N.Y.: sister, Mrs.

A lifelong resident of Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Victoria Jacobs Andrescavage. graduate of Empire Beauty School, she had worked as a beautician for many years prior to retiring.

Dominic and Anna Garamone Turse. He resided in the Hazleton area most of his life. A graduate of Hazleton High School, he received a bachelor's of science degree in education from Bloomsburg University and a master's -degree in business education from the University of Scranton. He was a teacher and football coach in Northumberland and more recently in the Hazleton Area School District, prior to retiring. Mr.

Anna Antos Anna S. Antos, formely of Hughes Street, Swoyersville, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 1989, in the South Nassau Community Hospital, Oceanside, N.Y. A lifelong resident Swoyersville, she was a daughter of the late George and Susan Dzurcanin Kraynak. She attended Swoyersville schools and was' a member of Holy Trinity Church, Swoyersville.

William Shukwietis dies at 91 former local funeral director William A. Shukwietis, 91, former funeral director and founder of the Shukwietis funeral home in Kingston, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 9, 1989 in the Syracuse Home Association, Baldwinsville, N.Y. He had resided with his daughter, Mrs. Romayne Welch of Baldwinsville, for the past five years.

Born in Wanamie, Newport Township, March 29, 1898, he was a son of the late Anthony and Mary Shukwietis. He was educated in Wanamie public schools and was a graduate of Eckel's School of Embalming, Philadelphia, where he graduated first in his class. Prior to pursuing a career in funeral service, he was employed in Wanamie as a coal miner, fireman and a storekeeper at Sheeders Store in Wanamie. Mr. Shukwietis was also a wellknown loeal inventor, producing a back massager and a fish scaler among other things.

He retired in 1972 after 50 years as funeral director of the Shukwietis Funeral Home. Mr. Shukwietis served as vice president of the Luzerne County Funeral Directors Association in 1934; and was a former member of the state and national funeral directors associations. He was a member of St. Mary's Annunciation Church.

Kingston and former president of its Holy Name Society. He also held office in the Lithuanian Alliance Club and other various civic organizations. He was preceded in death by his wife. Sabina, on March 13, 1980 and his brother, Anthony, who died in 1980 and had operated the Shukwietis Funeral Home along with his brother. A brother, Joseph, and sisters, Anne and Catherine, also preceded him in death.

Surviving in addition to his daughter are two grandchildren; brother, Frank, great sister, Ida, both of Wanamie; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, 717 Main Edwardsville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Mary's Annunciation Church, Kingston, with the Rev. Joseph Lasky pastor, as celebrant.

She had lived with her son for the past eight years and prior to that in Bethel, Conn. Born in Wyoming, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Antisan Lukesh.

She was a member of St. Thomas of the Apostle Church, Chester Heights, and a former member of St. Joseph's Church, Wyoming, and St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Pittston. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1957; also brothers, Stephen, Nicholas, and Eugene; sisters, Katherine Lukesh, Mrs.
