Monday, March 16, 2020, Messenger-InquIrer B3 OBITUARIES Barbara Ann Peveler Barbara Ann Peveler peacefully left this world on March 14th, 2020, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she entered into the presence of her Savior. We find comfort in knowing that she left feeling loved as much as she dearly loved us. Barbara was born on Aug. 11th, 1940, to Bernard and Ermon McClellan.

She graduated from Greenville High School in 1958. She was a member of Roland Memorial Baptist Church where she served as the church secretary after her retirement from TVA. She was also an active member of the Warm Heart Quilters Club. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Billy Peveler, as well as her parents, Bernard and Ermon McClellan. She is survived by two sons, Scott (LaDonna) Peveler, and Todd (Marilyn) Peveler; three grandsons, Derek (Beth) Peveler, Dustin (Carrie) Peveler, and Alex (Lauren) Peveler; and five great-grandchildren, Kaydie, Landon, Marlie, Rebecca, and Brady.

Barbara answered to many names on this side of heaven. She was a beloved daughter, wife, momma, grandmother, GiGi, and friend. Whatever title she answered to, you knew you were special and loved to have the privilege to be cared for by her. We are all going to miss this precious woman, but we are grateful to have been loved by her and to have such wonderful memories of a life well-lived. Service will be 11 a.m.

Thursday March 19, 2020, at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Danny Mooneyhan will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be 5 p.m.

She was born in Cumberland County on Dec. 31, 1929, to the late Rev. C.W. Simpson and Knoxie Hogan Simpson. She was a homemaker, a member of the United Methodist faith, and a devoted caretaker to her son, Charles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, L.T. Horsley on March 15, 2011; a son, Charles E. Turley on Oct. 30, 2011; stepmother, Nora Simpson in February 1996; a brother, Hiland Paul Simpson; brother-in-law, Fred Grigsby; and a sister-in-law, Betty Simpson. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Turley Osborne (Tommy); grandchildren, Lance Osborne (Sarah), Jacob Osborne, and Sam Osborne; great-grandchil- dren, Katie Beth, Mary Caroline, Luke, Tyler, and James Osborne; sister, Martha Grigsby; uncle, Talbot Simpson; and a special family friend, Jeff Glenn.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at James H. Davis Funeral Home Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

com. James Horace Bradley James Horace Bradley, 79, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Drakesboro, to the late James Harland and Thelma Bradley. Horace graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College and received his degree and Rank I from Western Kentucky University.

He was a retired teacher from the Daviess County Board of Education. Horace loved his family dearly and always enjoyed spending time with them, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by several siblings. Horace is survived by his wife of 58 years, Harriet Evelyn Milligan Bradley; two daughters, Charlotte Browning (Kevin) and Elizabeth Bradley (Todd King); four granddaughters, Gabrielle Bradley, Sarah Browning, Rebecca Browning and Natalie Barber; and one sister, Mae. The funeral service for Horace Bradley will be 2 p.m.

Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Jerry Alexander of ficiating. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of service. glenncares.com. Faye Quinn BEECH GROVE Faye Quinn, 75, of Beech Grove, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. Glenna Faye Hudson was born February 21, 1945 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Alfred L. and Gladys Sue Howell Hudson and was married to Barry Quinn. Faye was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Faith.

She enjoyed working in her garden, her puzzle books and relaxing in her porch swing. In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Quinn and by her two brothers, Randy Hudson and Junior Hudson. Survivors include a son, Keith Hudson of Calhoun; a step granddaughter, Crystal Pratt of Beech Grove; five step great granddaughters, Katlyn Wagland, Summer Owens, Amy Owens, Brittany Owens, and Shelby Parrish; and a niece, Kristie Garner of Buck Creek. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr.

Riggs, 38, of Owensboro, passed away March 11, 2020. He was born July 14, 1981, in Owensboro, to Bill and Sheila Pickett Riggs. Christopher attended United Methodist Church and graduated from Daviess County High School in 1999. He later enrolled in Sullivan University Chef School, attaining the title professional cook. In 2013 he moved to Colorado, until returning recently.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Riggs and Dorothea Riggs Montgomery, Lindsey and Christine Pickett. Along with his parents, Chris is survived by his dear companion, Kathleen Blair and their son, Nathan Riggs; his stepdaughter, Lily; his brothers, Michael (Cherie) Riggs and Kevin Lee Riggs; his nephew, Jeremy Riggs; and his nieces, Jennifer, Jessica, and Kathryn Riggs. Retha was born on Sept. 1, 1928, in Central City, to the late Hosea and Tiny Carter Bruce. Retha was a member of Lewisport Baptist Church where she was the custodian for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estell Jack Voyles; a daughter-in-law, Danette Voyles; and a grandson, Jeff Rigsby.

Retha was the last of eight siblings. Surviving her are three daughters, Nancy (Craig) Olson, Cindy (Kipp) Reitkerk and Mary (Tony) Millay; two sons, David Voyles and Tommy (Keyna) Voyles; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
